I keep the volume low on purpose with Meet Me @ The Altar. Pain In My Chest rewards that.
I am still thinking about one held note near the end — how it thinned, how it stayed, how it left a little warmth in the room.
Breath control in the verse is a little pushed. The break into the chorus feels earned. I care less about the drop than about whether the singer flinches — here, they do, beautifully.
