Arya Nox — “Playground”

curious little pull toward Playground — not hype, just the feeling that it will sit well between two songs I already love.

this belongs next to Isabel hush — same late-hour warmth, slightly different shade of bruise.

I keep thinking about who else this sits beside — honestly Isabel hush is the neighbor that makes the most sense.

keeping it: 8.5/10. Warm yes; queue permanently altered.

Listening notes for Playground: the low-mid field is curated, the top end is rationed, and a dry vocal against wet verbs does more work than the lyric admits.

The low end is warm without bloom; the stereo image stays gently widened at the chorus. Vocals sit centered with soft doubles, which keeps diction intelligible.

I went in cold on Playground. Came out thinking it is actually good, annoyingly.

This chorus does not earn the drop. The verse work is thinner than the mood suggests.
